The beetle has been re-tweaked and reshaped in some areas, on closer inspection the was uneven edges and polygons that didn't match up. all so the suspension was too low so iv raised and added the other side panels. All in all i'm super happy with how it's looking and really want to get this into the engine as soon as possible but i've still got to put a lot of time in to finishing the first stage of the vehicle
I use the Blog to post what i'm working on and to look back when my work wasn't so great. Its a sort of scrap book.

3D Scanning with the Xbox Kinect
Iv been messing around with the Kinect developer Toolkit. Having some fun with all the resources it has to offer, here's a 3D scan I was able to make in no time. Think this might be useful for something in the future.

Beetle Baja Update 03
Half way there, I have a good idea where everything needs to go now. It's all seems to be fitting, Iv blocked out the seats and engine. The main area ill be working on is the back substitution. Once this is complete ill build a vehicle skeleton for it to react the different geometry in the game engine.
